Our Story
1927
April - May months of 1927 is a Red Letter Day in annals of the School, when Sri Narasing Rao started a School called ‘Gandhi School’. Within few years Sri K Jaganath Nayak took the responsibility as correspondant of the School and renamed the School as ‘Modern Higher Primary School.
1933
In 1933 Government of Karnataka accorded the recognition to the School. Under the stewardship of Sri K Jaganath Nayak and Sri K B Ramakrishna Rao a strict disciplinarian and Headmaster of the School, the School scaled new heights and the Government of Karnataka accorded ‘Grant – in – Aid’ to the School.
1952
In 1952 when the School celebrated its Silver Jubilee, the ‘Old Student Association’ was formed under the President ship of Sri T A Pai. and Sri Ramesh Kamath Kalmady became the 1st secretary of the Association. After few years the Old Student Association became dormant.
